“In the midst of Buck creek forest stands Black Moon Manor a 150 yr. old plantation/manor that sits silently on top a hill peering down at all who passes. Built in 1859 the manor has seen it’s share of life and death for nearly for 200 years. The property itself has been in the same family for 200 years. The property has been sold twice, but some how always found it’s way back into the family.

A new addition was added to the manor 1892 and was used to accommodate some of the private needs of the family and friends. Home to some of the most amazing EVP’s ever recorded, Black Moon Manor has become one of the most recognized haunted location in the Midwest! No one really knows why the Manor is so haunted, maybe because of the fond memories made during the manor’s long history, or maybe the fact that the house was built around an active well that is still open inside the house.

The well even has an active natural spring that runs directly underneath the Manor. Or Maybe the location itself is to blame.Whatever the reason, it has proven itself over and over again to be one of the most haunted location in the Midwest! The last person to pass away in the Manor, was in the winter of 1978, where the Matriarch of the family froze to death in her living quarters.

The snow that year was so deep that the fire department had to pull her body out by means of a snowmobile. Does her ghost still haunt the manor?, no one really knows for sure. Hundreds of evp’s are recorded here yearly and some do not give their names. Black Moon Manor has continuously been shocking the paranormal society and been providing some of the most amazing evidence ever documented!
